We are taking him to the vet tomorrow since they are closed but he looks uncomfortable and sick. What can I do to comfort him until we can take him. I don't know if is an ear infection for sure but he has the symptoms.

I’m not sure the point of the poll? If your dog needs to see the vet it will cost you their usual consultation charge plus medication. What country are you in?

He shouldn’t be ‘sick’ if it’s an ear infection, maybe just a bit miserable. There’s not much you can do at home, but I would keep him busy to take his mind off it.

If he is that bad then get an emergency appointment for him. If it is an ear infection he will not be ill with it but might be in pain in which case it does not want to be left.

Why are your vets closed today? It's not a holiday here in the US?
Can you take him to a different vet?

It's 1:00pm on the east coast, 10:00am on the west coast. Every vet in the country who keeps normal 9 to 5 hours is open right now.
You don't need a 24 hour vet, just an open vet.

An ear infection should make a dog look "sick"
If your dog is uncomfortable and sick at least call your regular vet (who should be open right now), ask them if they think it can wait until tomorrow or if you should bring him in today.

'Just' an ear infection? Im guessing you've never had one.

They can be horrendously painful. I used to get the on a regular basis, and there were times i was so swollen i couldnt close my jaw and had t have some serious pain relief from the doctors.

Im guessing he has some treatment at for home as well? You might want to look at keeping an eye on the condition of his ears and trying to prevent another infection in the future.

What breed is he? Some are more prone to ear issues than others, and some breeds near their ears plucked to allow better air flow.

Well yeah I know it is not "just an ear infection" cause I also got it before when i was younger and let me tell you this, i did not let anybody sleep that night. What I mean by that is that it is not something worse like he is ill, etc. They actually did a antibiotic there and i looks like doing that would be easier than trying to do drops every day. Don't worry I will be on the watch. He is HiGHLY prone. He has floppy ears and is a poodle mix.
And they removed some hair too.
