    Hi everyone,

I need a little help, my girlfriend is about to finish her apprenticeship in grooming, I’ve been secretly buying her equipment for Christmas so she can do friends/family’s dogs (currently she either has to say no or wait until her boss lets her take them into the salon to practice on) anyway I’ve been acquiring the following over the last few months, things she’s ever mentioned or sneaky questioning, I was just wondering if there is anything obvious I have missed, not being from the grooming world I don’t have a clue,

Andis AGC super 2 speed with 10&7FC Blades
Wahl metal clipper combs set- fits A5/AGC
    Wahl super trim pet trimmers
Panana low noise 2800w dog blaster
    BTM stand for 2800w Dryer
Wahl 1800w dog hair dryer with stand
    Rosewood soft protection nail clippers
    Hatchwells ear plucking powder

She has her own scissors, but any suggestions of things I’ve missed would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance :)

Wow, what an amazing present. I'm sure she'll be over the moon.

Can't help I'm afraid but that looks like a pretty good collection to me :)

    Thanks for replying Rona!
I know she’s going to be amazed when she opens them all, I can’t wait.
Lol seems how nobody else has replied I’ve either absolutely aced it or nobody wants to help me out :(

Not directly related to the grooming but what about a first aid kit?

I’ve just orderd a set of Simpson slicker flex brushes that I spotted in one of her magazine! I’ll have a look into the other blades tonight, I thought the comb set would cover those (or rather hoping they would) can’t believe I missed out a table, seems so obvious!
She has shampoos, cologne & towels
Thank you, the advice is much appreciated :)

Like a dog first aid kit? I’ll have a look see if I can find one, or the bits to cobble one together, thanks!

I’ve ordered a 4F and 15 blade, a greyhound comb and a medium sized table, it has 2 nooses with it and the arms clip on both sides and meet in middle, or so I think!
My funds are now completely tapped out now, (I didn’t realise how expensive dog grooming was!) thank you for the suggestion, it has helped ma lot, I wouldn’t have known to get more blades or a table! :)

That what I'd of suggested :)
Maybe some books. Notes from the grooming table, theory of five and the Dog grooming manual are good ones.

Thank you for the suggestion, luckily she’s got notes from the grooming table etc (I nearly had a heart attack when I seen the price) as she’s been working in a groomers for the past year as an apprentice, our coffee table is full to busting with Dog related magazine/books! I’m just getting her all this so she can start doing dogs for friends and family as she currently has to turn everyone away because she doesn’t have any of the equipment herself :)
