Hi - I have a boy staffie - benny who is 2. We have had him 6 months now - his previous owners didnt want him becasue their son didnt like him and wanted a puppy . He was kept in the kitchen all the time because of the son. He had bald patches when we had him on his nose, head and all down his tail. They told us lots of lies - liked cats, other dogs, good on lead, didnt go on furniture ...... but he is settled now, very loving and has got basic commands.
We have issues with other dogs and has snapped at a man in the park when he went straight up and tried to pat his head. We have just started going to training so he can be get more socialised in a controlled place rather than random dog running up off lead to him. It seems that he has these issues if he is scared - quite a wimp really despite his appearance.
Before ben, we had a girl, jess who lived to 16. She was no problem at all - could go off lead anywhere (although put her on by trafffic etc just in case), totally loved everyone - so quite an eye opener when we got ben - but still love him to bits. Hes a big softie really who just needed some love
