    Hello Everyone

I hope everyone's well, of course including all the fluffy one's too. Gosh I've been absent for ages. I have no idea what's going on with anyone, but thought I should pop in and say hello. I hate being out of touch with everything. I need to do better.

We're all OKish here. Suter's her same old normal self, no issues or worries, bombing around like a lunatic. At the moment she's fast asleep on her podium bed thing next to me as I type this.

Kalex is having some issues, she was limping slightly several weeks ago, to cut a long story short has been to the vet several times, and had seen an orthopaedic specialist. They think there's something wrong with her hip or knee or pelvis. Initially they thought luxating patella, but not so sure now. Anyway she's going in for xrays etc this Friday with the specialist at which point we will find out whether she needs an operation.

She's on restricted movement, so I keep her on one level (chairs up so she can't jump up) baby gates to stop her gong up and down stairs, escorted walks in the garden (she's not awfully keen on her harness) and if we're out she has to go in her cage, luckily as I work at home that's pretty rare, but obviously may be a different matter if she has an operation.

I'm actually wondering if this has been a longer term issue, some of you may remember that she went off her food a few months ago, she has remained quite 'picky' but over the last couple of weeks whilst she's been on restricted movement, she's also in Metacam she is much more interested in food (not sure, does metacam affect appetite?).

Me - well I'm very busy with work, but have also been continuing with my soap making, I find it fascinating and I'm in the process of getting myself sorted so I can officially sell them on Esty or something (needs cosmetic safety reports and all sorts of legal things done)

Anyway, that's a little update from me, I hope to get some time to read about what's been going on with everyone.

Quick pic of what they're doing at the moment:

@LJC675 - welcome back, I was only wondering the other day where you had got to:)

Great photos of the girls - especially love the photo of Kalex - she looks so relaxed ! Hope that her problem can be sorted out quickly.

Good to hear from you and see pics of your gorgeous babies! :)

I do hope Kalex's mobility issues will be sorted out soon. She looks so relaxed stretching out in the photo. Maybe you could try her on some natural supplement like Yumove which has very good reviews for helping cats with arthritic conditions?

Hello, lovely to hear from you. Have missed you & your lovely girls.
I do hope the X-rays on Friday shed some light on what’s the problem with Kalex’s mobility & that’s it easily treatable, poor girl.
Glad to hear you’re still soap making.

Welcome back, though sorry to hear that Kalex is having some problems. Hopefully, the x-rays on Friday will help with finding answers to whatever is going on with her and treatment can get started to get her back to full fitness. I imagine it's tough keeping her on restricted movement.

Oh I'm so glad you are back @LJC675, I've missed your K&S messages - though I am very sad to read about poor Kalex. I do hope that the vet gets to the bottom of what is going on. I'm very happy to see the pair of them, I've missed your little beauties a lot xx

So lovely to see my wonderful Santa back!! Missed you.

Glad Suter is ok but sad to hear Kalex might have a problem. She certainly looks a happy girl in the photo!!

How old are they now? Is there any possibility it could be arthritis?

I hope Friday brings some answers and it’s not a serious problem.
