My friends puppy ate a latex glove and I immediately came to the forum for help. She has a 6 month old puppy. We read to give her 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting. I’m happy to report that it worked! Praise God!

Her puppy vomited it with 10 minutes! I considered taking her to a vet asap. Then I read people have had success with the peroxide. Since she was acting normal and still playful I figured we had a little time to see if it would work. If she had been choking, I would have gone into emergency mode and drove to vet.

We were very lucky and I’m so thankful I had Pet Forum to go to!

Thank you everyone for posting and for the support you give!
    Very grateful!

Just thought I'd add that unless specifically advised by a vet then hydrogen peroxide is not recommended as an emetic.

Always consult your vet for advice, rather than Google, for something so potentially dangerous.
