Hi guys! I am Richard from Texas USA and found this site searching for info. I am a DOG LOVER and animal lover in general. My dog Jack (my avatar) is my love! He is a mixed breed we believe is Rhodesian Ridgeback or Blackmouth Cur mix. My best dog I have ever been owned by I have 2 Gerbils which I have adopted in the last 4 months. I had many when I was in my late teens and early 20s. BTW I am 51 now. Anyway hi everybody and I will post pics of my kids (or owners whichever it may be) soon!

Hi Richard,

Welcome to the PF.

I've a Lab mix only since my German Shepherd died.

You see; I loved the animals more than sixty years ago. I've always had a variety of animals: guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, pigs, sheeps, cows, dogs and cats.

And they understand you better sometimes than the humans.
