So poor little Stannie-Man (Stanley) was at the vet today. He had stopped eating dry food about 2 weeks ago and we assumed it was a teeth issue. Sure enough he seems to have 4(!!) bad teeth that need to come out tomorrow morning.

He was so brave at the vets. He hasn't been in 10 years and is now 14. His heart is as strong as an ox and is in very good health. Apparently he has the physique of a much younger cat so of course he got a swelled head when he heard that :D

Anyway, he is have 3 back teeth removed and one front tooth. His sister, also 14, had 2 front teeth removed 2 years ago after an accident and she has managed fine.

Does anyone have any ideas what we can feed him or even if we can feed him tomorrow night? Is there anything else we should do to help him? he has never been sick a day in his life so this is new to us and Stanley.

OH has said after the £540 vet bill we may not be able to afford to feed him so it may not be an issue :D
