This is NOT a debate, just curious.

ill admit i have, not really hard but yes i did and it was due to my own anger more then anything, it was a bad moment and i felt awful afterwards. ill admit im not perfect

unfortunatly its human nature to do stupid things on impulse.

We don't really 'smack' them, more like a little tap on the nose for them to know that they have done wrong.

I nearly did once. I felt guilty for almost doing it and had to go for a walk

    I'll admit i have
Never a full on whack, but a tap or light smack whatever you wish to call it
only if they have done something really really naughty.

I still do it to this day...my dog is a masochist and loves being smacked on his butt no matter how light or hard you do it, he's addicted and will ram into you so you'll do it more

Back when I first had him, I had anger issues and did take it out on him a few times but it never bothered him, he just wagged his tail when I did..which is soon how I found I have a masochistic dog.

haha yes barney's tongue comes out and he licks his nose, it's quite hilarious really. That's good news he's not the only dog like that, always found it odd owning a dog that loved being slapped on the butt

Once when I was Really really tired... I had no sleep atall all night and still had to get up and iron oh shirt for work (he is useless. lol) And I take Dixie back to bed with me for an hour but I was sooo tired that when she was barking at nothing, after I told her to stop she just had to keep having a bark and I did smack her across the shoulder to make her shut up.
I made up for it with hugs when I had woken up a bit though!

And Dave I tapped across the bum because he was really harassing the cat and I had lost the water squirty.

Both dogs also love when you play shove and smack them though, Dave half turns round and leans into you. Lol

I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

I've only ever hit my girl once out of anger (wouldn't do it again) but Candy LOVES having her bum smacked and the harder the better!!
