I just put the spot on parasite treatment on Sausage's neck... but now it seems to have dripped down onto his back as well - is this normal? Will it harm him if he tries to clean himself and ingests some of it?

The liquid seemed to go on forever - there was loads of it! But it said to use 2 pipettes for a syrian so I did... but i don't want him to eat any of it! :(

I cant find any online information in regards to dosage and ingestion.

Is there a number you can ring on the box?

It was the right dose, but I just wanted to check that its safe for him to clean himself with it on :S

I wasn't expecting it to go all over his back!! There's no number on the box, just an email address. I managed to distract him with food and he's gone to sleep now so hopefully he's ok...

Ive just found somewhere where it states dosage.

If you can stop him from wahing whilst its really wet that would be best. Not sure what else to suggest as ive never used it. If in doubt, you can always give your vet a ring for advice.

Yes it did this when I put some on Honey our Syrian hamster. I used the Xeno stuff because she was scratching a lot and it did exactly the same and dripped all down her neck and she licked it. I worried about her all night but she was absolutely fine and still with us and this was a few months ago.
