Bungo suddenly started licking his lips and doing huge, exaggerated swollows. Then came over to me panicing, trying to climb into my lap, I don't know if it was the right thing to do but I started rubbing his throat, but that didn't help, I tried looking inside his mouth but he wouldn't let me.
Then he went over to his water bowl and drank and drank and drank ....... then he was sick, up came bits of chew and the water.
He seemed OK after that, then he started licking and swollowing again, but not as badly.

Dad came over and by the time he arrived Bungo had improved, still licking occasionally but no where near as much. Dad said Bungo was fine, he'd got rid of whatever was stuck, it probably scratched his throat, so why he's still licking a bit.
We took him out and he just started madly eating weeds/herbs but seems fine since we got back.

He is now having a sleep. Me however am still trembling.

What a shock - could he have been stung?

I don't know, if an insect is walking on the floor Bungo will investigate, I didn't see a wasp but I guess he could of found a dead one, ate it and it still had its sting?

Hopefully Bungo wakes up right as rain again.

Could just be a one off incident of feeling very nauseated and just left him feel a bit panicky. Quite common because let's be fair vomiting isn't a nice feeling at all.

I hate it when the boys are poorly it always really upsets me. Loki stole a stick in the garden the other day and then obviously got a bit stuck he was gagging. Then it came up and he was ok. I was about to throw him in the car and drive to the vets. Give him a big cuddle.

Poor Bungo! Hopefully he has cleared whatever it was.
Bless him it is scary though isn’t it. I remember when Teddy got in the dog food cupboard and ate soo much his tummy was so big I was really worried about bloat, I stayed up all night with him. He was completely fine though.

I think he has, he's woken up and seems his normal self. :)

What a fright! Glad Teddy was fine.

That is scary, Reena had a similar episode a few nights ago. Luckily OH was here to keep us all calm, but it was horrible.
Don't they love to scare us !

    Thank you. He certainly did!

Sorry to hear you had a similar experience with Reena.
They do love to scare us, then they give you the 'what?' look.
