Have any Ragdoll owners read about HCM and have you had your cats/kittens tested for this ?

Feline Advisory Bureau has a good info sheet about HCM, tells you about screening etc. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) in cats

I have a cat with HCM (persian) so I did a lot of reading about it when he was diagnosed last year. Its prob hereditary in his case, but he's nearly 12 now and not so much was known about it being in certain breeds 12 yrs ago I suppose, and don't think there was the screening etc then.
