I went up to see my first puppy, Bryn, the other day. It's probably the last time I'll see him.

It was sooo good to see how far he's progressed, and I know he's going to be amazing for his new owner.

I took a picture of him in his training harness. He looks so grown up. Come a long way from the lanky, flailing furrball he was when I got him.

Here he is when I got him:

    And how he looks now:

He's gorgeous well done Bryn and you too. I would love to be a puppy walker for them but I would find it too hard to hand them back

Oh, my neighbour did puppy walking for two puppies, both of which failed the next stage, she has the second one back and he has just turned seven.

Bryn, looks like he is doing really well, and good luck for the next one.

My nan had guide dogs for over 40 years, I am sure you already know but what you (and the traineers) have done is given someone freedom and independence, not to mention a loving companion. Give yourself a big pat on the back. :D:D

My gosh! doesnt he look grown up and so proud sitting there in his 'Uniform' such a handsome boy. I looked at this earlier and couldnt reply as the tears were streaming down my face. I got so emotional!

You must be so proud of him. These dogs are a precious lifeline to the outside world. Well done for helping him on his way to his new companion. He really is gorgeous and so 'professional' and grown up looking. :001_tt1:
