That's so sad! Maybe they didn't catch the infection in time? Urinary Tract Infections are usually treatable, aren't they?

I think she suffered from some sort of dwarfish which gave her her famous look. Possibly that contributed to the problem that she eventually died from?

    RIP Tardar Sauce.

The only real ''problem'' one I had was with a boy cat - their plumbing is a bit more complicated. In fact he didn't have any infection, he just blocked solid, no wees for no obvious reason, and ended up having a PU (sex change op).

I'm wondering if she had some genetic problem which caused her 'grumpy' appearance because UTIs are not usually fatal.
    RIP Grumpy cat x x

    37A60C6D-429D-4111-A51A-83FE4F65386C.jpeg So sorry. Poor kitty.
Recently Garfield started with urinary and after Metacam his pancreas nearly got him.

So it can get complicated pretty quickly.

I was a great fan of Grumpy Cat, having my my own one...

It is far too soon ... she was s gentle little cat.

Dwarfism is a horrible disorder causing all kinds of internal problems with the cat's organs and those with the condition are never expected to live much past their middle years.

    Poor little cat. xx

A UTI that wouldn’t resolve with antibiotics destroyed my Jake’s kidneys which resulted in his death.

I don't doubt her humans loved her but I always felt a bit sorry for this cat, paraded all over the US in front of crowds of people because she had an 'amusing' deformity. Should have been at home living a quiet cat life.
Very sad that she has died so young.

So, this "comical" cat actually had a horrible disorder. I didn’t realise. I hope nobody has decided to turn the afflicted cats into a trendy breed. They did it with the "Munchkin'' cat
