    Hello all,

Max has tufts of fur growing behind his ears. Ever since he was a kitten they have been really greasy but we put it down to the fact he had been abandoned and wasn't in the best of shape. But whilst he's flourished into a handsome healthy young boy, his ear tufts have remained greasy! His ears are clean and the hair tufts in his ears aren't greasy!

Any idea what this is please?

    Thanks
    xx

I forgot to mention that it gets knotted and I have to brush it regularly. More so than the rest of him :D

I can't answer why the ear tufts are greasy if he is not a dark colour you could try a little baby talc then brush it out I have to do this with Simba every couple of weeks or so as he seems to have greasy fur.
