There was also one for a giant breed on preloved: Hello, my name is XXX and I am a _____________ (giant breed). I am 8 months old but soon I will be old enough to use at stud. I am looking for a nice girl to befriend. I am yet unproven and untested as my mum wants to see what my puppies look like before spending money on my hip scores and heart tests. My stud fee is very low for this reason, and I would consider having a puppy in place of stud fee. Please contact my mummy to talk further.
PS I will only befriend a girl if she is (giant breed) KC reg.

I am ashamed to say I know the person who put this advert. Not in Leos luckily

    hi, my name is dave.
i am a tall lanky dog owner who needs a girlfriend or two.

i have not been tested but can drive a car.

i am a bit hairless on top but have good stifles and feathers on my legs and bum.

i would like to 'befriend' a few girls who are fit as butchers dogs just for a quick mating session.

dont want pups but your master could have front row seat.

Well that's foul.... and doesn't show any great love for, or interest in, the breed for its own sake.

There are people out there who test their dogs even though they don't intend to breed from them, just to make sure accurate records are kept and to increase the knowledge pool for the breed.

It's almost like this person is using their future puppy buyers as 'guinea pigs' without even considering how financially and emotionally devastating it could be for the owners who bought puppies in good faith.

Words 'bargepole' and 'pooey stick' come to mind.... :frown:

    LMAO dirty bugger

It is dreadful. I don't think it was a case of money either.... I think it was a novelty thing... She wants a dog that has sired a litter. It had been known to be a little aggressive aswell :(

    I need mind bleach :D :D :D

Surely any stud dog worth it's while doesn't need to be advertised at all? I keep seeing adverts for Irish Wolfhounds at stud, there owners don't appear to particularly picky either. :(
