Apart from border collies , what other breeds are known for being good at agility?
Shelties and Poodles are meant to be good I believe, but to be honest, any dog can do it, and has the potential to do well. My Westie did it when we was younger, and I'll be starting with my Bernese Mountain Dog when he is old enough.
At the Agility we run at work, we see many breeds. At the last beginners class, there was Cali (my dog - Collie x Whippet), a Finnish Lapphund, Tibetan Terrier, 2 x Border Terriers, a JRT, an English Shephard. At the advanced class was a collie, three poodles (two mini and one standard), 2 x labs and a crossbreed.
So, just goes to show - any breed can do it
She is collie/lab x jrt.
At agility there are boxers, labs, flat coats, spaniels.....
Bumby is doing really well! Apparently there's a local team just for poms
wow a big variety
I'm not thinking of getting another dog or anything , was just curious
Has your pup had a go at it?
It's brilliant fun
we're going to start soon

I hope you come to ours We could have a p/f team :yikes:
I can't think what it's called where we go to *face palm* I'll tell you tomorrow
There are many breeds that compete and its open for all dogs to try
Some of the better breeds are kelpies, bearded collies, belgian sheperds, shelties, toy poodles, papillons, cocker spaniels and many more...
