Yes i did the exact same thing as a child in primary school as we used to get bottles of milk at break times, and to this day i cannot drink or smell milk, i wont have it on cereal and i will only have a small amount in my milk.:eek:

It put me off for life. :cryin:

I cannot touch a bottle of milk without having thoughts of this might happen. Consequently I can't drink milk or even buy it in the shop!

Annoying thing was it was at work and the milk was in date by over a week!, meaning that someone left it out too long.
I left all the domestic staff sniffing all the milk before they gave it to the patients!!:D (half of it smelled off.....I hope we didnt make anybody any more poorly then when they came into hospital!!).

My gran used to always keep 3 bottles of milk on a window ledge and let it go off for a few days until the curds separated from the whey, they she would strain the curds out of the bottle into a peice of gauze and squeeze out all the liquid, then add some salt to it and hey ho she made soft cheese, very much like Philadelphia to taste. I loved it.
