goat meat

    what was the texture like hun,, is it chewy like beef or soft like chicken.

    love curried goat really nice never cooked it myself just had it cooked for me :):)

    Never tried it or mutton for that matter. Something to think about! I'm not very adventurous with my food :(

    never seen it to try it to be honest.

    is it like venisun (sp - which i hate!) or more like beef or chicken

    i actually expect it to be a bit like lamb ???

    its a bit like lamb but more of a chicken texture hard to describe really but its really nice we have a carabien takeout up here an the curry goat is to die for :)

    My sil, has said he'd make me goat curry, I just might take him up on that. I'll give most things a try, sort of.

    i've never had the opportunity to try it but word is that you're right....best eaten in a jamaican curry

    cousin lives in london on one side he has an indian family, on the other he has an african family, & just across from him a thai family, he's out of work & keeps himself busy doing odd jobs for people, gardening, DIY etc theyre always making him meals as he never takes money for his work even tho its offered, so he's well fed he loves all their different cusines he has goat regualry as well as curry made from scratch (not with sauce out of a jar).

    He also has jamaician & chinese friends so she's spoiled the lucky sod lol

    jamaican curry is just the best jamaican food is really nice full stop theirs some lovely dishes just wished i could cook them very lucky as a kid a lot of my cousins use to cook a lot of these dishes just wished id learned how to cook them myself :D
