    hey!

Looking for recommendations for specific gloves to wear for handling my two new gerbils. They are very scared of us still and and one has bitten my son tonight and caused a lot of bleeding. Want to keep the handling to get them used to it more, but need to avoid the bites in the mean time. We’ve had them for a only a week.

Also, they poo loads the instant we take them out for a stretch or play or into their balls. Am I right in thinking this is a nervous thing? Hate to think they are that frightened.

I used soft gardening gloves with my son’s rats.

And yes, pooping can be nerves.
