Girls growing up... book

    Just been looking on Amazon and there is lots of ones to buy has anyone any recommendations?

    my little one is changing and she is finding it quite upsetting ..so i thought a book might help her.:eek:

    awww pet..i will be your cyber mum xxxx (hugs)

    she was in tears this morning because in a nice way started talking about deodrant...****... didnt go down so well... (think that's what now thinking back was one of my silly messages to you last week..)
    we are friends now and have been out shopping for nice smellies this afternoon...but bless i love her so much..she loves to read so i think this is the best way....i did mention bum hair to her today and she looked shocked and giggled so were ok ...i think...its so hard when they get to the changing age:confused:

    I can't really remember because I was sooo poorly at the time :eek: (the growing up bit)

    But definitely - books are ALWAYS a winner no matter what :D

    we gave our daughter books, and now she's just like me, she reads on the toilet:D

    i will be watching this thread to see what books are recomended as i have a 8 year old daughter who thinks she knows everything lol

    she is nine..ten in November..she has never mentioned to me about any talks at school...but she only tells me things in her own time...so perhaps i should ask her...honestly she was so upset this morning...

    My daughter too - she reads her books in a day or two - she can't put them down. :laugh: She's changing too, she was 10 in February and think she will need a bra soon although she's a bit of a tomboy so not sure she will wear one.:eek:

    its hard isnt it....she said i must think she stinks :eek: because i said she should start to use deodrant, in a nice way i said it ....****..she cried

    When i was her age i can't remember ever talking about periods & stuff.

    I Remember when i got my period i thought i has poo'd myself :eek::eek: didn't know what a period was :blink::eek:

    mmm see...i dunno if she knows about these things...i was about 12 ..but my mam was 9...so ...she just seems to have grew up sort of so quick :yikes:
