    Hi,

I am about to start looking for a new kitten to live with my 2 year old female cat, and just wanted to get some advice on how to go about this..
I will be looking at both breeders and rescue centres, but if I buy from a breeder what should I be looking for? I know kittens shouldn't leave home until minimum 8-12 wks old but what else should I be checking for?
Can anybody recommend any known reputable breeders in the Buckinghamshire / Bedfordshire area?
And good either rescue websites or breeders websites?

And finally what should I be looking for in the kitten itself when I visit? I need to ensure he/ she will get on with my existing cat who is an indoor and quite nervous cat.

    Thank you!
