It has been a while…

I would like to be able to come back with better news…
Scrip is still with us and for his 16 and half years- not doing too badly…
Garfield though is not well.
In the clinic since Tuesday. PKD in his second kidney and renal failure.
We are still fighting but just to buy some time. Results today and I hope to get him home even if just for short time
We have been away for a while but still feel a part of Pf and Garfield’s godmothers are here…

I missed you…

I'm so sorry. Love and Cheese Danish time is never easy, but there is comfort in it, after it's over, knowing you did everything you could to make his days full of love, comfortable and normal.

Thank you all for your thoughts.
We had to make the make the decision yesterday as the effects of drip were wearing off.
I miss him terribly.

He was very special to us, the cat you have once in a lifetime.

He cheated Death so many times- some of you may remember his story.
He lived nearly 12 years…and mostly it was a good life thanks to his wonderful Spanish vet Manolo and his team.
They all came to be with us on the last journey.

I am still coming to terms with it.
He was such a person, the Timekeeper, and for last year and half developed very deep bond with me. Watching over me and if I was unwell he would not move from my side .
Never a lap at but would partially sit on or keep his paws on me.
My shadow, very loving and so gentle so good.
Thank you for all the little gifts, he loved them.
