So, I know I cannot take her in but I decided to send an email to the owner. She is not vaccinated and he plans to give her at 8 weeks old. He doesn’t seem like the really bad, uncaring owners so maybe I can convince him to vaccinate her and leave her with mum until 12 weeks? What do you guys think? I just sent an email expressing interest and I asked for pictures of mum or dad and he replied saying that the mum is a purebred Bengal but they don’t know the dad, (seriously doubt it as he didn’t give any pictures). I think he just ended up with a litter he didn’t want and since this cat is black, he wasn’t able to give her away. Maybe I can convince him to spay and neuter his female. Shall I do that?

The link says they are a breeder and frequent advertiser. My guess is, mum is a tabby but non Bengal, they are claiming part Bengal for more money.

The kitten may not actually be eight weeks and they won't take your advice, as are in the business of selling kittens for money.
They may have already sold the rest of the litter.
    But you can try.

I will try, I mean, it’s better than just letting him go ahead and sell her at 6 weeks. Does anybody think they can take her in, if they are in her area?

anyone, who pays for her, is just falicitating him breeding another litter
better, much as it is heartbreaking to do, to leave him with the problem of finding her a home

Yea, I guess so. It’s sad that so many people end up with this. Just got back from him and these are the pictures of his “Bengal”. So far, I’m trying to write like someone who doesn’t know any better and casually questioned him as the pictures look like a normal brown tabby.

I can’t look at these adverts anymore as it hits how lucky my two are and rightly so as all animals deserve food warmth love and shelter.

    I hope she finds a home x

He is selling her like she is an object.
    He's a "frequent advertiser". :(
I wonder where this poor kitty will end up and poor mum

But if you don't buy them then what happens to them? :(
More regulations are needed to protect animals from rogue breeders.

They're already trying to implement regulations and they will do naff all about the bybs

Yep, it's like anything else. The more rules and regulations that are implemented only affect legitimate breeders. The BYBs will carry on regardless.

It's a bit like banning a regular TWOC perpetrator from driving...

I got no reply, I asked him if he had the papers showing that the mum is a Bengal because she looks like a regular brown tabby to me. He just started ignoring me at that point. Poor little kitten. I only hope somebody who will love and care for her will take her in. I know that if someone buys it from him, he will continue to breed for more money, but I dread to think what he would do if someone didn’t buy that kitten (especially as she’s black). I think he may just end up dumping her in a street. :(

Those sites are full of Tabby Moggies that are advertised as Bengals. It's unbelievable
