I checked that Pickle's sleeping area was ok and clean before I went to bed last night. The was a lot of bits of her fur all over the place. She cannot be and is not pregnant. Does anyone know why she might be pulling her fur out? Today there is more fur in the sleeping area? I am bewildered. I hope she's ok.

Some does have phantom pregnancies. Every one ive had has nested at some point. Spaying should put a stop to it.

Yes she is having a phantom pregnancy.
It will not harm her in any way but repeated phantoms are not good for does so you really need to think about getting her spayed;)

I always take the fur out, they dont seem to care when I do it, it just seems to make them realise that they arnt pregnant quicker with mine.

some find it stressful if you take the fur out, and sometimes they will just pull more out and make another nest, you could take most of it out but as she is getting spayed on tuesday i would just leave her be with the nest

it could be nest building because she is coming into season a lot of females do this or she could be stressed. id guess it was the first one but just in case something has changed/upset her it could be stress related.

Thanks again. She could be stressed with William running about
outside her run. Though she doesn't appear to be. I left a little of the fur. I will completely clean out her hutch on Tuesday morning when she is being spayed.

My bunny used to do this, I always left the fur in for a couple of days because she would just pull out more
