    We went to my Mums yesterday. She has been having clear out and has given me a dog breed book.

    We were looking through it and we came across the Keeshond. My Mum has a Leonberger. She, jokingly I must add, suggested breeding her Leonberger with a Keeshond. She said they could be Keesbergers but pronounced 'cheesebergers':D:D:D

    It will never happen as she doesn't want to breed from him at all. But it is a funny name!!

    Our Stella is a "Schnoodle"....schnauzer/poodle mix....or so the vet guesses....as she's a rescue dog and didn't come from a breeder.

    The name makes me laugh!!

    We've taken to calling Silas an Alaskan Collie people get really interested ask where we got him and how could they get one were we planning on breeding him. The looks on their faces when we say hes a neutered rescue are funny. I still can't work out what to call Buster though.

    Yes, I've always sniggered at the thought of what you'd call one of those. Obviously the most apparent combination wouldn't be at all appropriate (although very funny, I'd just love to tell my mother that we'd got a shittypoo dog), maybe a poo-tzu? :001_tt2:

    I like poogle (poodle x beagle) and sheltidoodle (sheltie x poodle).

    Poogle just sounds fun and I like the way that when people were deciding on a name for the sheltie x poodle, they decided that sheltipoo was too easy. :lol:

    I must say it's always funny coming up with the names, when Maya had her pups everyone was asking what i should call them I got;

    -Alaskan Springers
    -English malamutes
    -Springermutes
    -Muted Springers (this would so not have suited, they were so vocal)
    -Sprutes

    I have a neighbor with a Jack russel x Pug and I always wind her up and say's how's your little jug doing? she says he's a dolce and gabana dog! (this is her joke, he's actually a £50 accidental mating off a farm and was shocked the here these are a "designer" cross breed)

    I just like plain old poodle :p Alot of the cross breeds seem to go by different names even though it's the same 2 breed crossed. One I've never been sure about is a dalmation/poodle. Poomation? Dalpoo? No doubt there's a name somewhere :p
