    I haven't got a clue what that means @JoanneF !!! Is it because I'm a Prime customer?

I think it must be - you'll just have to share any clever ideas you get from it :)

If you don't have Kindle Unlimited you've paid for it, I think. Not free for Prime. You pay monthly for KU.

I've just checked my account & I haven't paid. I've also been to cancel the free trial in case I'd inadvertently clicked on that but I haven't. Very odd!

I'm reading the Canine Communication one now. It's all a bit bizarre tbh. I've just rang my dad (he has a kindle subscription) & he doesn't know why I've been able to download it for free! Very good book though!

@fernlady Amazon has so many different subscription services now it can get a bit confusing (or maybe that's just me).
I'm currently coming to the end of a Kindle Unlimited trial through which I read Sally Gutteridge's Inspiring Resilience book as mentioned by @kimthecat , thought it was excellent, very helpful. Her Senior Dog Wellness Guide was on offer to download for free a few weeks ago (to purchase, not borrow through Unlimited), maybe it was the same briefly with Canine Communications. Check your device, if it's a loan it'll have a 'Return to Kindle Unlimited' option.

The Inspiring Resilience is available through Lenders Library. Must get to my Kindle and download it by the end of this month. Maybe there was a glitch with the other one.
