My Freddy had gone missing in the last hour.
Any advice ladies
Ok don’t panic, go hang as many of your dirty clothes on the garden fence or door, Freddy will pick up the scent if he is lost.
Check all your sheds or outbuildings.
Knock your neighbours as many have sheds and garages open on Sundays.
Go out every 30 mins calling him, shaking treats packets or his favourite thing.
Leave smelliest cat food you have by you door.
He is probably near bynot wanting to come in.
I have had this toooooo many times, it is frightening, so try stay calm xx
I hope he comes home soon.
One of mine went missing years ago - I found her about 11 pm in next door but ones shed. I heard her meow when it was quieter later on.
I keep checking.
Come on Freddy get home NOW
Keep checking keeping fingers crossed for you. I know how it feel Jiggs went missing for 21 days a few years ago.
Check under bushes/cars/get folk to check their sheds/garages can anyone help you search?? remember cats will usually try and come home when it’s quiet so from now and through the night! I really hope he comes home!
Best luck! Hope he is found safe and well.
They aren’t usually far away. Come on get yourself home young man x
stay calm hun
How do you know he’s missing? If it’s only been half an hour?
You need to go out searching. Neighbours gardens, sheds, outbuildings, garages, it’s been sunny and warm in the day so easy to get shut in.
He could be having a stand off somewhere.
Have you done the fork against dish, shaking treats, calling....
He’s home ladies xx
Turned up at the back door meowing like he’d had a whale of a time - naughty Freddy but at least he’s home xx
@huckybuck - he was missing coz he wasn’t indoors :,-( he doesn’t go out xx
Big lesson in it for me :,-(
I had opened the kitchen window a little because I had the tumble dryer on just before he went missing. The window is really sticky and hard to push open. I didn’t open it without a thought, I deliberately only left it ajar slightly coz I know they can get through gaps. His brothers were outside already coz they go out in the garden. Freddy must’ve jumped up on the worktop and off he went. He has never done it before so I didn’t for a second think he would push it open last night xx
Big wake up call :,-(. Thank god he’s home and safe xxx
Thank you all for your messages xxx
Never cwtched him so tightly xx
Naughty little owl face ❤️❤️ Xx
@Clairabella my worst nightmare.... hope you can now get some sleep, so glad he's home - little monkey he is!
Thank you xx
Oh, naughty Owl Face, what a worry. So glad he's back safely. I know that feeling when you're desperately hunting for them and also that much nicer feeling when you see their little face when they come back. Such a low and such a high. Phew xxxxxxxxxx
So glad he’s home and safe xx
Oh Lord Freddy of Owl Face! Just because your big bruvs go out doesn’t mean you do too. Glad he’s back safe and sound (& hopefully not with a taste for going out!).
Just reading this, glad you found Freddy.
PS can we have some recent pics of your boys?
Oh.. I missed the drama but I, glad he's home! He was clearly feeling brave and adventurous!
