Found by OH and I tonight (11/5/2014) at approx. 11pm on a lane between High Road and Stoney Road, Swilland. IP6 9 postcode. Not recognised by the nearest houses in the area.

He is shaded fawn with a relatively dark back, no white on him but has a few grey hairs on his chin. Looks to be young-middle aged. Un-neutered. Quite a large Pug but not overweight, doesn't have a tightly curled tail. Not wearing a collar.
Very friendly and was easy to catch, someone must be missing him!

Suffolk Coastal Dog Warden will be contacted tomorrow morning with his details. Currently safe at OH's house overnight.

Adding a (poor-quality!) picture of him.

That is very good news I really hated the thought of a pug going into any kind of kennels they do not do well if they are not with people

If anybody has lost his pet then he should immediately give ad in newspaper or in radio so that if anybody searches he or she should inform immediately. there should be colorful photo of dog in newspaper so that there should be no difficulty.
