Just wondered if anyone still ate this horrendous food.

I know some of you are extremely anti Peta, but surely as animal lovers we must all agree that this must be stopped.

It seems that Selfridges are still selling Foire Gras and you have the opportunity to show your disgust by clicking on this link Selfridges: Stop Selling Foie Gras | Take Action | PETA.org.uk

tbh it sounds horrible to begin with let alone when you hear how it's made :cursing: blerg!

  4. No i dont eat it and never have

I also only eat british meat from my local butchers, who sources his meat from local farms, as i hate the conditions animals are transported in for hundreds of miles to the abboitoirs (sp).

Sounds as though they are just out to shock. Trouble is that where there is a market, this will continue.

Just to point out that as far as Foie Gras is concerned it is a little bit more than a market; for some people it is part of the traditions and culture...
The ideal would be to find a "humanitarian" way to make it but it sounds unlikely..

    Hmmm..
It's funny how people don't want most makeup brands banned, and they test on animals.

I think that you will find the majority of cosmetic companies, no longer test on animals and I totally agree with Nouska.

Foie Gras is a barbaric practice where animals suffer needlessly. We now have the opportunity to express our horror by signing the petition. If everyone sat back and did nothing, animals, people and children would suffer needlessly.
