Fleetwood is a 2 year old greyhound girl who stands at 26 inches to the shoulder. She has a beautiful white coat with blue patches and a very pretty face.

Fleetwood is a nice, friendly girl with a calm nature. She loves attention from her people, and gets on well with all dogs - large and small. She is not cat friendly, however.

Little Fleetwood has been in foster care since February. She shares her temporary home with several other dogs including small terriers and is now a settled and well behaved girl. She is housetrained and enjoys playing with the other dogs in short 'greyhound' spurts, followed by lots of roaching and snoozing. This lovely little girl was also part of the marching team at the last St. Patricks day parade, and behaved wonderfully amongst all the noise and bustle of the crowds.

Fleetwood is currently in foster care in Ireland, and can be transported to the UK or Europe if a suitable home offer comes up. This would be organised and paid for by Kerry Greyhounds and we ask only for a donation to help cover costs. She is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and a home check will be required as part of the adoption procedure. This gorgeous girlie is ready and waiting for her forever home.

**UPDATE 05/2010a**

Fleetwood is travelling across to a foster home in Norfolk, UK soon to wait for her forever home there. This darling lass has been in a home environment for several months now, and has proven to be a well adjusted and happy hound. She deserves to find a home to call her own now, as she has been waiting quite a long time.

Fleetwood is also a bit unusual among greyhounds in that she loves the water! She is always the first to jump into puddles and the last to leave them, especially now that the weather is getting warm and sunny.

Fleetwood has now travelled across to Norfolk, UK where she is settling nicely in to her new foster home. She is still available for adoption and is ready and waiting for her forever home. This lovely girl is a joy to be around and is very well behaved with other dogs and people.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting Fleetwood, please email me on [email protected] for our information pack and adoption questionnaire. Thanks!
