Fledging Goldcrest

    Suddenly we have three of these pinging about the garden. No idea where the nest was as haven't seen an adult one for months

    Brilliant photo. They do tend to be heard rather then seen

    They make tiny little nests which hang off the ends of conifer tree branches so that predators find it difficult to get to them. Sweet little birds

    How delightful. I love there jaunty ways. So hard to get a picture and I'm still trying after 2 years :D
