Anyone else had a big problem with them this year.

It's now October and I only usually Frontline during the summer.

But I've just taken another Tick off Flint.

Took about 4 off them last week too.

Yes. Alfie had one last week :(

Trouble was it was somewhere tender and he chewed it causing a little reaction and made him rip a little bald patch in his fur

They've had nothing all summer but these past couple of weeks they seem to have attracted the ticks.

had masses of ticks this year on the cat and the dog! We live in an area with high population of deer, wooded area lots of heather and bracken, heaven knows where they get them from!! seems to have died down a bit now but I'll keep an eye out still just in case.

Had a few but my pair swim most days, if not in the river then in the sea, not sure if that makes any difference but they don't seem to be too bothered with them.

It's probably Flint that's bringing them in as the other 2 are in water most days.
