    If you want to get Oscars in the future, look into cutting your teeth (so to speak) on the Blue Acara. Great beginner cichlid, much less aggressive and at about half the size of an Oscar, it's not exactly a tank-buster. :D

    yeah it’s my first time using it, there’s a lot more to this fish keeping than they let on lol, my test kit should be here in a few days, can’t wait to find out the results :D

    Oh dear poor plants :Facepalm lol
    Hopefully it will do the willow tree good then :D would you use on veggie plants? Wondering if I should put it on my chilli plants lol

    Yeah I’ll be holding off on the oscars for a while, but hopefully one day :D I won’t bother buying the algae brush and just make do with a fish brush then lol

    So many different fish :D I wonder how much they cost lol.

    I’ve rearranged my tank today, when I bought the plants I didn’t split them up, so today I’ve split them and replanted. Kind of made a mess with the media stuff the plants were in but it’s fell to the bottom so when I do a water change tomorrow it should suck it all up lol

    Since doing it the snails are out in force and climbing the glass, must of stirred it up a bit lol what do you feed your snails?

    Ah. In that case, it's anyone's guess.

    Perhaps not. This link might be useful;

    Acaras? About a fiver each. :D

    Yeah, I have to split my plants up, too. I'm just waiting until I take the tanks down and I'll sort them out then. I'm raring to go, yet shackled while I wait for more plants. :Muted

    As for feeding snails - don't bother. They'll live on the detritus left over from the fish - dead and decaying plants, fish food and fish waste. I had one my SIL called Houdini who survived a fishless cycle in the 200ltr with 4ppm ammonia. It's descendents are still in the tank to this day.

    Omg I am so sorry to hear that the Rams did not pull through, maybe it just was not meant to be. You still have a lot to look forward to though. Sorry for your loss
