OMG Someone was obviously casing out my place last night. When I got up this morning I let the dogs out and when I heard them barking I thought they sounded further away than the back garden. So I went out to check and both the gates were open & the dogs were running around in the street harassing a neighbour :yikes:

Someone had opened both the gates and left them open :incazzato:

Luckily the dogs and the neighbour are ok.

I know burglars are inconsiderate beings but I wish they'd shut the god damned gate!!!!

We regularly get our garden and sheds cased by the local scumbags.
One Christmas Eve came home and found all OH tools stacked up on the garden, we'd disturbed them before they could take everything.
A couple of months ago they nicked all my garden lights I stood out there wondering why I couldn't see what the hounds were up to
May I suggest like me lots of bolts and locks

My sister's house was broken into a few years ago and they left the window open, her cats got out, one found dead, one half starved in someone else's garage and the third was never found. Thoughtless b*st*rds. :(

You'll have to be more vigilant now, like leave a light on overnight or something?

I leave light on outside & inside. If anyone can break into my house and get out in one piece with something they've stolen then they can have it :p I've got 3 dogs one is a killer Jack Russell and another has a bark like a GSD

Bloody annoying though when you have animals that can get out, glad they were ok:)

We've had a few open the gates to get to the back garden and try the shed/back door.

Best one was we tend to be up at 3-4am (weirdos i know) and someone stuck their arm through the letterbox on the side door trying to reach any keys/locks. Little did they know a certain chance was sat the other side of the door, who waited until the arm was all the way through before doing his **** off bark, i can only imagine the look on their face by how much this arm was flailing about :D it made my night.

Funnily enough it's never happened since.......

Skum!! Makes me so angry.

Can you get a gate that has a spring on it to shut itself?
