A semi-feral cat had two kittens in our shed 6.5 weeks ago. She moved them to another shed a couple of weeks later. We've put food inside every evening since we found them and a kitty litter tray for about 4 weeks. She 'tolerates' this.

We've also had a catch and release trap locked open on a high bench top and she's retrieved special treats from inside it daily. Today we wanted to catch her but she jumped on the trap and set off without being inside.

She then moved the kittens somewhere??? Came back inside and ran off again.

She CAN'T stay, she's started killing small birds at night near her den and I've many chickens roaming around my yard and they are not cat food.
We'll keep putting food out for her hoping she returns and we can eventually trap her but we want to find the kittens first.

Any ideas on how to find the kittens? We have an experienced carer ready to take them for eventual adoption.
