I found a bird sat outside my conservatory door. Not moving, practically lifeless. It was still alive but couldn't move. I called my dad and he picked it up and said he was still breathing and then took him out the front away from the dogs.

poor bird :( Fly free :(

Perhaps it had flown into your conservatory windows ??? and stunned itself. Hopefully it will come round and fly off again. xx

He may be in shock - my dog came out of the bushes in our garden with a little vole in his mouth a couple of days ago. Made him drop it, it was very still, so I put it behind the garden gate. A couple of minutes later he recovered and did a runner.

oh my god you guys its alive :) I think it is anyway - or it was yesterday.

think you guys were right when you said it may have been stunned. Because my dad said when he went to look a couple of hours later the bird had gone.

So..it was either stunned and had recovered and flown away..or a cat ate it - i'm really hoping it wasn't a cat lol
