I am bored of office work. I don't want to do it anymore. I've been helping the OH make hay today and it was so nice, no phones ringing, no emails, no computer screens. It helped me make up my desicion that I want out of the office enviroment.

Things is, now I'm stuck. Thats the only work I know, where do i go from here? What kind of jobs could I get? Money isn't an issue anymore, so long as i cover my bills. I just want a job that makes me happy.

What non office jobs can you guys think of?

A good care company, doing domicillary care, driving around to clients at your own pace, doing abit of shopping for them, taking them out.

My OH reads gas and electric meters. It doesn't pay a fortune but he can structure his own day and there's no one on his back telling him what to do.

Lots of walking though - he goes through new shoes like nobody's business!

To be honest I'm considering doing this myself as I feel exactly like you i.e don't want to go back into an office with all it's politics and hours etc!

    Hope you find something :)

Agreed. Though I did love it for the social aspect, and sometimes I did have some great days :)

I once did a full weekend in work. There was an auditor coming in and our department was being 'deep cleaned'. I did my usual work during the day then deep cleaned from 6pm-11pm and slept in the training room so I could get up again at 3am. Luckily we have a shower at work.

    Longest weekend of my life.
