Could anyone tell me how you check on FB who has visited your page?

    Thanks.

You can if people have 'checked in' but visits won't necessarily show depending on the privacy settings of the person who checked in. If you look on Facebook's help page there are various bits of advice.

I don't think you can either. Or at least I hope you can't, otherwise my stalking days are over!

You can't. I don't think anyone would use it if you could do that - you couldn't really stalk peoples pages.

My point exactly - the best thing about Facebook is that it is stalker-enabling :Shifty

People use Facebook as a virtual stalking tool?

What I find is that if people who are not on your friends list visit your page to snoop they suddenly become suggested as 'people you might know' in the FB list..

Sometimes FB is handy for snooping.. We found that OH ex=boss who was supposed to have gone bust was busy on an extended holiday in Italy and his son had posted pictures of his birthday present, a flash american car... We also found that one of my daughters seniors at work was friends with the hateful ex-boss .. So he was given a warning about what was and was not spoken about to people outside of work. (we were involved in a court battle with said ex-boss at the time)

My horrible neighbour who has never worked was selling(a lot of stuff) online via FB groups and got caught out by the dss !

Its not just individuals who snoop on FB new employers current employers and the police regularly snoop.

That's how so many benefit cheats are caught: they just cannot resist posting photos of their £15k wedding or their exotic (and expensive) holidays for their imaginary 679 ''friends'' to admire and 'like'. Sad really.

As always, people can only see what you allow them to see.

The security settings can get quite high to the point where only your friends can even see your profile exists (we have a 'work group chat' on FB messenger and one person appears as 'Facebook user' if you're not 'friends' with them, only they can request to become friends too)

Even with 'friends' there's always a chance people can pass information on (screenshots etc) so always be aware who they are also friends with if there's someone you're avoiding.

Even 'checking in' to a place... it's usually a public post and in the wrong circles it can equal 'we're here and our house is currently empty....' etc.

Mine is set to everyone can see the fact I have Facebook along with my profile picture, but everything else is locked to 'friends' (not even 'friends of friends' too) .

You can easily block people too so they'll never see your profile or even posts. :)

Mine is set so only my name is seen. I'm really conscious of adding to much personal info and I only ever set it up in the first place to follow a breed specific group. Literally all my posts are about my dogs! :Hilarious

But I have been known for secretly stalking too :Pompus You can't help it when some profiles are so public ;)

Just thought I would revive this. I was told by a friend that if you go to settings and blocking or blocked there is a bar you can write in. If you write
    Following me
In this bar and search it will show you a bunch of people who you have never heard of and from other countries.

I was a bit sceptical and my setting are very restricted like who can look at my page.... freinds only.
But I was curious if this was true or not so I did it.

And sure enough there were 30 odd people either following me or visiting my page. Most from Middle East counters, USA, China. So I blocked them all about 2 weeks ago
I have just re-checked and there are 2 more people so again I have just blocked them.

I don’t know what this is or what it means. My settings are very restricted as I say.
    Rather worrying though.
Not sure how to take it forward as there is obvuosely a loop in the system!

This is for anyone really but I know it was @Rafa who originally asked.

Also can I ask are you @Sweeti ..... I’m sure this used to be her profile picture?

If you have strong security settings the only thing people can see is your name and profile pictures. Not much to stalk.

You can use "view as" to see what your profile looks to friends, friends of friends, strangers etc
