Eyes open at 5 days old

    Is this a good sign? They started to open at 5 days they are now a week and they are fully open and they are more active! :confused1:

    Ours opened their eyes completely on day 8 so I'd say that's fine :) You got any purring yet? Two of mine have started on day 12. Also their ears have opened and they react to my voice.

    I love my kitties :D

    I thought that didn't happen until about day 17 :eek: Brilliant if they are already open though! :)

    I think it varies for every litter.

    I read that they don't purr until the third week, but mine (well 2 of them) have at day 12. My mentor tells me that she had one that started purring at a few days old last year too!

    Oh and two of mine also roll over for a belly rub now too :lol: so cute!

    No purring yet but they are reacting to tickles, if i tickle there tummies they wiggle and kick there feet like they would to play.. its so cute :001_wub:

    Yes piccies will get them on, 2 tics :)

    Aww so cute. Mine still don't have their eyes open, one loves it when we go to bed throgh and starts meowing (squeaking) and trying to escape from the box by crawling, so we bring him onto the bed and he purrs away, sniffing around with his head in the air.

    one of willows kittens had its eyes open at 2 days old and by day 6 all had there eyes open!
