Had this in health but think i mite actually get a response in here :)
A friend of mine has a 9 month old rottie who has been diagnosed with this, apparently its more common in the larger breeds.

The vet has told her that she recommends not to breed from the dog as there is a very small possibility of this being passed down, but she's done her own researching and found no evidence to support this is hereditary and is more likely to be a one-off.

Does anyone know anything about this condition scrolled cartilage?
Should she seek a second opinion and if she has the dog eye tested at a year old will this be classed as a fault and render her dog "unbreedable"?

She was planning to get Kaiser fully health tested and offer him as a stud to get a pup from the litter, but now obviously she doesnt know , any opinions guys?:confused1:

might be helpful if you could tell us what the eye problem actually is so you could get an answer.
