    Hi all,

My hubby has just said he "might" get me my all time favourite kitty for my 30th in March... a BSH silver spotted kitty! I am so excited I could burst!
Does anyone have a recommended breeders in the North West/Wales areas so i can change the "might" in to "will"? :D
Also, will Geoffrey get on with one? Are they stroppy cats or laid back? Geoffrey is very laid back!
    Thanks!

Mine is the textbook BSH personality. Calm, laid back, Friendly. He's just perfect! I know of a good breeder but she's in East Yorkshire. Is that too far?

    How very exciting :D

Everything crossed for you the 'might' turns in to a 'will' :) My OH kept saying no more (like we've got a house full of cats) then when we had our little holiday a couple of weeks ago, he said yes :D

I'm sure Geoffrey will be just fine, he'll enjoy having a little play mate :)

My new baby is a bsh spotty, but the breeder is in northampton. She has three boys left to reserve. 5-6 weeks before they can leave. Here's my boy!

Let me know if you want her details. :D

I'd love one sooner but I "might" have to wait until my birthday in March. Can you PM the breeder details anyway in case I persuade an earlier arrival date? :D

Well, my OH and I have talked it over and we think Seb needs a younger play mate, Frank is getting a bit grumpy with him lately and I feel he's a bit bored, I play with him loads but there's only a few things I can do to pretend to be a cat :D

We'd love to get a pedigree, we're not in any rush, doing lots of research on different breeds, one of the reasons I'm going to the Supreme Show.

But, I do and would feel guilty about not getting a rescue moggy :( but we'll see how the research goes.

Aha, and I had the cheek to say you kept it quiet about getting a Tonk :D

We're only in the research stages, but we've got our heart set on a Maine Coon, we just love everything about them :D

I don't think it will happen this side of Christmas, but early in the New Year. I want to find a reputable breeder that would be happy for me to make regular visits. I've had a look on the MC Cat Club website and there are quite a few breeders that are not a million miles away.

I'll make sure I start a thread when the search is on :)

This is fantastic! Maine coons have really grown on me of late! Seb would like a red one :D

I'm sure there are MC rescues, this way you won't feel guilty but get your pedigree. you only have to look at spooks and JJ! :)

There are some available on the Maine Coon Cat Club website (not that I've looked or anything...)

    Home Page

It's my 21st in April and an MC would be my ultimate pressie!! But I have a cat that, apparently, doesn't like other cats and a Mum who's reluctant to have any more furry family members. Boohoo!

I've already had a sneaky look at Meesha and Moki, they are both very beautiful :001_wub::001_wub: I'd love to take another older cat but I think Seb needs a young playmate.

It's my 40th next month, so my OH said the new addition will be my late Birthday present :)
