If you had read my LAST update properly, you would have seen the bit that said "This will be the last update for while.............."

    Honestly, what y'all like!!!!!! :D :D

Currently, we are still trying to get back the ground lost from the window cleaner fiasco. Moo is being 'forced' to share the front bedroom during the day with the other cats, albeit she is under the bed, in her bed.

Yesterday, OH left the door open for the back bedroom and she was in there the whole day on her own.

As we are trying to re-scocialise her, giving her the chance to go off on her own is not good right now. She has spent the best part of the last year on her own, away from other cat company, and so we are trying to undo a years worth of 'cat solitary'.

She is still hissing at the other cats but I have moved her bed so that, whilst she still feels safe, the rest of the posse have to pass close to her when they walk by to try and make her see they will not harm her.

I have carried her downstairs a couple of times to try an awaken a desire in her to explore Moggy Towers further but she is always glad to go back up. I am now considering the option of bringing her down in the cat carrier for a few minutes each night, extending the time on each occasion, to make her see that there is a lot more for her to see and explore. She will feel protected in the carrier so maybe she'll relax and take in the surroundings with a bit more curiosity and a with less less fear.

In herself, she is quite brilliant and loves running around the upstairs area at night when she knows the other cats are safely downstairs. We are seeing progress in that she is beginning to come to me when called and, the other night, she even left her basket to sit on the windowsill when the posse were in the bedroom.

We always knew that getting Moo integrated fully into the Moggy Towers Posse would be a long, slow journey so we're in no rush to speed things up. I just have to keep convincing the OH that we are not being cruel every time we have to push her a step or two out of her comfort zone.

I hope all that has fed your Moo-Fixation for a few more days but I do thank you all for caring and for asking.
