English Springer Spaniel help

    hi, I have a 3 1/2 year old springer and for the past few days he keeps constantly licking at the pads on his paws, I have bathed them several times and he also has regulars showers to clean any dirt from them, has anybody got any ideas at all what this could be

    Check for grass seeds and mites.

    Could be effects of stinging nettles or chemicals he’s trodden on, allergic reaction, even stress or referred pain.

    Consider floor cleaner, washing powders, change in food, treats etc.

    If you can’t see anything and it continues, I’d get the vet to check him over.
