Emmy Lou is an ex breeding bitch handed in from a PF. She was very traumatised when she first came in and ran away if you made eye contact with her. She was very nervous of sudden movements and wouldnt take anything from your hand.
Despite this, we felt that she had at some time been a pet. She wasnt phased by the TV or washing machine. She loved toast and crisps and any other human food. She was clean in the house from day one.... all the things that only a pet dog would know.
She was spayed last Tuesday, had her first vacc and her dew claws removed. She was good as gold at the vets. Since then she has grown in confidence and now wags her tail and comes for a cuddle - only on her terms - but she obviously trusts us enough to relax.
She has met my grand children and loves a ball to play chase with.
Emmy Lou is about 5 years old and needs a home where she can be left to settle and flourish in her own time. She doesnt do rushing and can sometimes get stressed if she feels pressured. So ignoring her is the best way to get her to come round!

She will make someone a lovely pet and just loves to follow you everywhere!
