Eco towns

    Just watching the local news and they were reporting on a large eco town to be built near Bicester. My question i would ask is, why build an eco town on green land, surely thats not very eco friendly is it? Why not regenerate innercities and wasteland in towns first? Discuss :D

    They're just ordinary towns with a few gadgets aren't they?

    It's not like it's the buildings that are the problem anyway. It's the humans who live in them. LOL

    Perhaps they should have just let Ikea open? Not many people know, but Ikea have actually started building homes as well as furnishing them!

    They already have one place in Gateshead finished as far as I know.
