Spring captured perfectly Rona, and the nicest of all is to see the domestic animals enjoying it all. Lovely to see the Calves and their Mums.

Beautiful colours and sights. We are off to Dartmoor again today for a few days break so hoping for some decent weather and some photos rather than the wind/hail and rain we were treated to the whole time we were there a few weeks ago.

Hope you have a great time.
I was supposed to be away this weekend, but the friend who I was going with has a sick dog :(
I tried to get someone else to come, then I tried to give the weekend away to a couple of other people, but it was just too short notice and my money is wasted :( I didn't fancy it on my own

I'm actually not in the countryside now, I drive out somewhere and walk, though I can be in open countryside by walking a couple of miles from home but to get back is another couple of miles and that's half the walk ..............I'd rather be there all the time :D
Only saw a couple of people this morning, if I went from home I would have seen dozens on the way back

Those are great pictures. I love Spring, it's my favourite season. Everything started to grow. The air and the ground full of energy.

9 miles this morning, somewhere very different and some steepish slopes.

Just about got there for dawn
    [IMG]

There was a little gang of young rams having a battering time :D So amusing watching them
    [IMG]

    Quite misty early on
    [IMG]

Someone didn't seem pleased to see me :D
    [IMG]

The mist was lifting by this point
    [IMG]

He'll be wanting to shed that coat soon
    [IMG]

Went off the main tracks and found a hidden valley :)

Someone had an itch and was using the way marker to scratch it :D
    [IMG]

    The farmers were out working
    [IMG]

I then started bumping into wildlife
    [IMG]

    Typical view :)

    1000s of Skylarks :)

Haha some good photos. Must have been lovely to walk and see all that.
I particularly liked the photo of the two sheep, and the one where it looks like a small cow is standing on the other cow :D
