One of my boys is scratching his ear, inside it, and has shaken his head a few times. How can I tell if he has ear mites?

I know Advocate gets rid but would I need to wait for administering as he was Frontlined a few weeks ago and Drontaled just this week?

Ear mites generally look like black dirt speaks inside the ear canal they can be very irrateting. I always thought they needed treatment administered inside the ear itself from the vets. ?

You can drown them with olive oil and assuming that there is no canker (sores) in the ears you can then use thornit or TEP to disrupt the breeding cycle.
