Nearly 4 weeks ago we took custody of a beautiful new addition to our family - a goldendoodle who we named Merlin. During this period we have decided that Dyson the Hoover is more appropriate. We should also be able to post pictures of him over the next week as we will legally adopt him...can't wait to show him off!

Ally, most Goldendoodles that I have seen seem very similar in type, am I correct in thinking that this cross turns out more true to a certain standard than many other doodles?

Originally we were going to call him Merlin, but Dyson suits better as he is a scavenger and a gannet! Rona, Goldendoodles are more similar than Labradoodles but still vary considerably; some look like cream Labradoodles; others like Retrievers and others are just "odd" in a cute way. Then obviously, there is the confusion when you have a goldendoodle who is not golden....Dyson is gorgeous with an Apricot Standard Poodle father and Retriever mum. Will post pics as soon as permitable
