Is anyone here interested in DSLR photography? I only got into it about three years ago and now I'm 100% hooked! :D

At the moment I use a Canon Eos 50d and a Sony a200 with the 18-70mm lens.

Plus some of my latest photos, enjoy! :wink5:

Sunset, this was taken about 15 minutes ago using the 50d. This is looking in a west-south west direction. Sorry about the contrast in this photo, I didn't set the camera's ISO properly.

Some mosses from yesterday's trip to Gait Barrows nature reserve, which is a five-minute drive from where I live. Here is the aladdin's cave of photo shoots. Taken using the 50d with my Canon 60mm macro lens.

Tree leaves, I took this for a project for my IGCSE biology. Taken with the a200 and standard 18-70mm lens set at 35mm.

A stream which flows into Haweswater, I've seen a couple of fish in here which I believe to be small Brown trout (Salmo trutta). I'll try and get a waterproof housing for the 50d at some point and get some underwater shots.

The stream from a different angle.

Haweswater, I used the tripod for this which helped tremendously. Taken using the 50d :D

And finally, a close up of one of my Cryptocorynes, taken with the Canon 60mm macro lens.

I would like to get into photography, but I haven't got the money for an SLR camera. I borrowed one of my friend and was amazed at the picture quality.

It's digital single-reflex photography, or in other words the likes of these...

    Thanks Red! :D

DSLR photography isn't exactly very expensive, I got the a200 in mint-condition for £120. In fact many amateurs and pros alike buy second-hand gear.

    Thanks guys! :D

I really like the Canon EOS range, when I'm older I might invest in a Nikon, probably something along the lines of a D700.

I've got Canon EOS 40D. Got it last year around March. Not really taken 'proper' pictures for awhile. Once I've got puppy (or maybe before!) I want to get a new lens hopefully a macro one so I can take loads of new pics because my current lens was only £80. Here are a few pics of mine. Won't post too many incase they end up hugee :p Plus I'm too lazy to upload anymore to photobucket tonight!

This is our friends clumberland spaniels nose. I love taking macro pics of dogs noses!

Fantastic pictures. I love photography but unfortunately not very good at it.:blushing: I have a DSLR Olympus camera but don't use it much because I haven't got a zoom lense.

I think It's something I'd like to get into - trouble is my OH loves photography and I know he wouldn't just let me get on with it he'd have to give me 'advice' (tell me what to do ;) )
