Yesterday I was having a great chat with our lovely next door neighbours. (Polish) We were chatting about my Buddy (Shih Tzu). He was telling me that in Poland when any pups are born they drown the female pups!!!!!! I was absolutely horrified!! He said that it was to keep down the population of unwanted dogs. Surely there's another way!!!! I felt like taking a plane there and then to try and rescue these poor little mites. How callous is it??? It beggars belief!!!!! :cursing:

Sometimes in this day and age humans shouldn't be called humans. We can be monsters :cursing: .
Poor poor pups :( there are ways! I do not agree with early spaying at all, but in the case of a life??? Maybe this poor pups should be spayed then homed.

How about not breeding the dogs in the first place

Some things in different cultures confuse and horrify me.

I'm not sure and will confirm this but I think they probably can't afford to have the dogs spayed as Poland wouldn't be a very rich country. I am by NO means sticking up for them as I too think it is utterly barbaric.

Dont think they actually breed them, most of them are just left to stray and breed whenever!
